The KE-15 80% forged lower receiver is precision machined in house from hi grade 7075 forgings to milspec standards, tumble deburred, bead blast finished, then Mil 8625 Type III, Class 2 anodized; making it compatible with most mil spec M16/M4 uppers and features a broached mag well. All that is left to do is machine the fire control pocket, for the trigger group and drill a few holes. Once complete you will have a fully functional KE-15 type lower.

  • This is not a completed receiver and still requires machining to be done in order to have an operational firearm.
  • NO FFL is required for purchase, item can be shipped directly to your home.
  • As determined by the firearms technology branch of the ATF, this lower receiver is not classified as a “firearm” as defined by the GCA of 1968.
  • Customer is responsible for compliance with local state and federal regulations regarding any products sold on our website.
  • These lowers have been found to be compatible with most jigs made for finishing forged style lowers, such as Tactical Machining’s, etc.

Ok .. thought I'd take a chance based upon $$. Got my lowers far faster than I expected. I am unable to tell where the blem is. Compared it to other lowers I have there is virtually no difference except for some cosmetic designs. Happy camper. (Posted on 7/21/17)
Good product

Bought two of these lowers to test some laser engraving on and really the only problem I had was the fact they use USPS and USPS always seems to re-route and/or lose packages on their way to my house ...
I was a bit screwed up as I hoped that both of the lowers I ordered wouldn't have the "Fire" and "Safe" already engraved, but it was on one side of one of the lowers - I can't complain too much as these are ready to be milled and the only blemishes are just a small ding here or there and won't affect the function of the receivers in the slightest.
Good pricing, fast shipping and I most certainly would recommend these to a friend. (Posted on 9/16/16)

Got my "blemished" 80% lower today and it looks great, blemish so small it is hardly even noticeable. Now to start milling... (Posted on 7/1/16)
KILLER DEAL

I PURCHASE 7 OF THESE AND FOR THE PRICE YOU CAN'T BEAT IT. LITTLE NICK HERE AND THERE ALONG THE EDGE THAT WOULD MEET UP WITH THE UPPER ( NO BIG DEAL), ONE HAD A HARDNESS TESTING INDENTATION ON THE SIDE WHICH YOU'RE ABLE TO SEE BUT WON'T HURT THE FUNCTION OF THE WEAPON. REMEMBER THESE ARE MADE TO SHOOT NOT TO BE SAFE QUEEN OR SHOW PIECE SO IF YOU CAN OVER LOOK A VERY LITTLE NICK OR HARDNESS CHECK INDENTATION THEN THESE ARE WHAT YOU'LL WANT TO BUY. In my opinion, unless you only want a wall hanger, forget polymer lowers. Even good Airsoft guns use metal. If are not a professional machinist or gunsmith, this is the right choice for your first, second or third build.

When mine came I inspected every inch, there was a small ding near where the buffer tube attaches and some scuffs on the flats of the mag well, which were anodized over. NOTHING to affect fit, function or SAFTEY. I later purchased the New Frontier 80% AR-15 Lower Completion Jig. The pin used to position the jig to the lower, was too tight. I feared if I pressed it in I would never get it apart. I polished the pin with steel wool and used a #20 drill bit to ream the bolt catch spring hole. 20 twists of the bit and now it assembles just fine. Remember this IS an 80% and you will be cutting a lot more metal than that. My ONLY regret is that I did not purchase both lower and jig together to save a little money. Don’t worry about the blemishes. (Posted on 6/12/16)

Bought two and started milling them out yesterday. Damned if I can't see any blemishes. Fits perfect in an EZ Jig (Posted on 5/8/16)
No need to hesitate because of "blemished" title

Based on the photos, I took a chance and ordered several of these lowers at the same time and I was not disappointed. They all look great and only one of them has a small area with a 'chip' or incomplete area in the anodized finish. I have seen more obvious blemishes on off the shelf retail rifles.

If you take into account the cost of a decent jig, you can not go wrong by buying more than one of these project ready 80% lowers while they are available at this price.

Just one note, as shown in the photos, there are no FIRE-SAFE markings. This is no reason to not consider buying at least one, especially when you consider the shipping cost is the same if you purchase just one or if you purchase four. (Posted on 5/5/16)
