This 7.62x39 ammunition is imported by Global Ordnance of Florida and substitutes steel for copper in a couple key ways so you can save money and still enjoy quality one-on-one time with your AK-47!

This is steel-cased ammo. Steel cases won’t do you a lick of good at a reloading press, but the rugged metal is perfect for an AK-47’s aggressive extractor. The cases’ Berdan primers perform more or less interchangeably to brass-cased ammo’s standard Boxer primers, and they aren’t corrosive like what you’d find in old Cold War surplus.

If you’re used to Russian-made steel-cased ammo, then you may not anticipate how much higher-quality Arsenal’s 7.62x39 really is. The Bulgarians adhere to stricter quality assurance protocol while manufacturing their military-grade munitions, and they seal its necks and primers against harmful water infiltration!

This ammo’s 122 grain full metal jacket bullets are almost entirely copper-free. There’s a thin film of copper wash on the jacket’s exterior, but the rest is pure economical steel.
